The lights are on
If you're one of those gamers who thinks free-to-play browser games are just a blip on the radar, Gameforge has 300 million reasons for why you may want to reconsider. Today the company announced its user base has grown to roughly the size of the US population.
Today Gameforge sent out a press release stating that its user base has grown by 100 million in the past year alone, and that it expects those numbers to continue rising thanks to the upcoming browser game Star Trek -- Infinite Space, which is set to release this year. The German-based company currently runs 20 games, from client-based MMORPGs to more casual browser-based titles.
I'll be honest, I've never even heard of Gameforge before, but with 300 million players, they must be getting something right.

never heard of them either. that's weird
Woah. I don't think I've even heard of them either.
These guys are kind of like nexus, they make a lots of bad free-to-play MMO's with a ludicrous number of micro transactions.
maybr you heard of bitefight,o game...
Well I have... Never heard of them.
Yeah.....like all the other people here, I've never heard of this GameForge.
I have never heard of them but if they are one of those companies who put out games that rely heavily on micro-transactions and a pyramid scheme, then I probably won't be playing any of their games. I'm not saying their games are bad, after all, I have no idea which games they have made but if they do rely on the aforementioned business model then I really have no interest in them. It's just not my thing.
300 million? Wtf? I have never even heard of GameForge and I read about games a lot. Those numbers seem fishy..
Who?
Never heard of this, maybe it has 300 million users because it's FREE.
Same here, I've never heard of them either, but there are a lot of people who play browser games.
thats more than facebook i think.......
never even heard of gameforge, probably an Aisan thing
Is it free to play?
