NHL 12 Demo Coming
We've been talking about the slate of additions for NHL 12 for a while, but in a few weeks you'll finally get to try the game on for size when the demo releases.
Operation Sports has the news that the NHL 12 demo will hit Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network beginning August 23, and it features access to three game modes: Play Now, Be a Pro, and Ultimate Team.
Play Now highlights the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals matchup between the Canucks and Bruins (starting from the third period), while in Be a Pro you can experience the new ability to sim between your shifts and perhaps even this year's addition of in-game tasks from your coach. Finally, similar to last year, playing Ultimate Team in the demo gives you extra packs when the game comes out (as well as the option to get an extra pack if you invite a friend to the demo).
NHL 12 comes out on September 12 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
