New Dance Central DLC Will Make You Get Up, Get Busy

Today Harmonix announced three new tracks for Dance Central from James Brown, Sean Paul, and Lloyd, available for download next week.

The new tracks include James Brown's 1970 funk classic "Get Up (I Feel Like Being A) Sex Machine, Pt. 1," Sean Paul's 2002 hit "Get Busy," and Lloyd's 2007 single "Get It Shawty." Each track features new choreography and routines on all difficultly levels, and will be available for 240 MS Points on August 16. They will all also be compatible with Dance Central 2, so your newly-perfected James Brown impression won't go to waste when the sequel releases this fall. Now excuse us while we go look up what a "shawty" is.

  • I still haven't forgiven this publication for giving Dance Central a higher score than Fallout: New Vegas.
  • I have to admit I do enjoy playing this with my daughter and I love James Brown so this should be good.

Sidenote - as far as Kinect recognizing players and movement this game works much better than a lot of the others.
  • Played one dancing game in my life. Spent a $1 on Dance Dance Revolution in a Minneapolis (Block E) arcade. Game over in under 2 minutes.
  • If I was into dancing it'd be totally worth it for James Brown, The Godfather of Soul, hardest working man in show biz, etc etc...

  • HIT ME!

  • This is really one series I need to "Get Up" on. Too fun!

  • I found out... after downloading Get Up for Rock Band... that is an EXTREMELY boring and repetitive song. Good as a clip, but when you listen to it front to back you realize it's like... 4 minutes of the same 7 seconds of music.

  • Was anybody else a little creeped out by the picture of James Brown or is it just me

  • Heeeeey!Huh! lol

  • is the game that good

  • James Brown rocks, the rest is trash.
