The lights are on
Today at QuakeCon, Todd Howard announced a collector's edition for the highly anticipated The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Hardy adventurers can look forward to the following:
All these wonderful treasures can be yours for $149.99, when Skyrim releases on November 11. In the meantime, check out our Skyrim hub, which contains exclusive content from our cover story trip to Bethesda.
Email the author Tim Turi, or follow on Twitter, and Game Informer.
But Then Again My Brother Also Wants It So Ill Only Be Paying Half Of The RRP.
The only thing that makes this worth it is the cloth map, thats awesome!....wait you get that if you pre order? well eff this!
I was hoping for some exclusive costumes/skins and powers.
Definitely a cool item, but $150 is just too much. I would flip through the art book once, watch the DVD once, and I'm already getting a map from the Gamestop preorder.
The dragon statue's kind of sweet, but not really worth another $90.
I can't believe all of the negative hype this CE is getting. The same reason people will buy this is the same reason people will buy the Epic Edition for GoW3, or the same as why people bought Legendary Edition for Halo: Reach. Not many people preached how wrong those editions were. And quite honestly, I see barely any difference in this edition from those. Also, can it be confirmed that the casing is a steelbook case? It looks like a steelbook case, or will we all just get a regular, run-of-the-mill plastic case in the end?
Man that's a little too expensive for me. If it was like $100-$125 I could probably get it.
Now this is a decent Collector's Edition package. Getting this for sure.
Ooh. That hurts. I would have picked up a $100 Collector's Edition (with less stuff, of course), but $150 is too much for one game for me. Looks like I'm sticking with the standard edition.
Yep, will be switching over my pre-order shortly. Bout time they announced this.
yes im getting this for my b-day
Sounds awesome, but I'll still be sticking with the standard edition. $150 is a bit steep for me.
And I thought the Fable III limited collector's edition was expensive...
