The lights are on
While EA has yet to make any official announcements, numerous sources indicate that EA's free-running action game will return.
It's becoming hard to dismiss as a rumor. Mirror's Edge is almost certainly under production at EA, and will utilize the DICE's Frostbite 2 engine -- the same engine that powers upcoming Battlefield 3. Official PlayStation Magazine recently reported on insider info to that effect, compounding similar reports from an interview that GameTrailers completed with EA president Frank Gibeau.
It's exciting news for fans of the original game. Many players found Mirror's Edge offered a play experience unlike anything else on the market. It will be exciting to see if EA can further evolve the franchise with a second installment. Would you play a sequel?

Yes, most definitely!
Mirrors Edge took the gimmick and turned it into gameplay, something that many games these days fail to pull off. Of course I'll play the sequal =).
Yes yes a thousand times yes. Mirror's Edge was not long enough for me. The combat was fun but needed a little work.
...well...all I can say is...Woohoo!
i will and hope it's soon, BF3 already looks amazing and i can't wait to see the graffics and animation they get out of FROSTBITE 2,with desrustion 3.0 and massive multiplay taken out the texture and FPS will be top notch :)
Of course I'd buy a sequel I loved all the awesome parkour in this game, and I loved the subtle propaganda messages you'd see posted in elevators.
awesome I cant wait
I'd hit tha-...uhmmm...I'd play it, I mean.
This is a good thing! It would be a shame for such an unique IP to get the kabosh. Consider me pleased.
