What do you get when you combine Major League Baseball and Nickelodeon’s Nicktoons? Why, Nicktoons MLB, of course. This upcoming game from 2K Play gives pro players like Derek Jeter, Tim Lincecum, and Albert Pujols (tee hee!) a chance to take on SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom, Avatar’s Aang and more on the baseball…diamond…thing. The game sports a full Major League Baseball license, with all the teams and players you could possibly want. Also, you can play as Powdered Toast Man.
Reiner and I got box seats to the big game, and got a guided tour from its associate producer Jim Yang. I apologize in advance for not being more talkative during the presentation. I was stunned into silence for the majority of the demo, to be completely honest. This game is like a window into my nightmares.
I can’t wait to play it with my kids!
