Level 5 Has A Message For North American Fans

by Phil Kollar on Jul 25, 2011 at 06:40 PM

Level 5 is an increasingly popular Japanese developer known for creating such titles as the Professor Layton series, the last two Dragon Quest games, and White Knight Chronicles. Recently, the studio expanded to a new North American office. Learn all about it in this new video.

In the video below (uploaded by Silicon Era), Level 5 CEO Akihiro Hino says hello to North American fans of the developer-turned-publisher and explains what the launch of Level 5 International America means. The company will begin both developing new titles focused on a North American audience and publishing Japanese titles that haven't yet made their way to the states.

As a big fan of Japanese games, I support any company taking steps to improve the availability of Japanese games in the U.S. as well as the ability of Japanese developers to make games that U.S. gamers can appreciate. I can't wait to see what Level 5 has in store.
