Soundgarden's Feeling Minnesota With New Rock Band Song Pack

by Matt Helgeson on Jul 15, 2011 at 06:46 AM

Soundgarden, one of the bands that flew the flannel flag of grunge in the '90s, is coming back to Rock Band with a six-pack of its most popular songs.

The band is currently working on a new album and in the middle of a new worldwide comeback tour. I listened to some Soundgarden the other day on my iPod and the stuff holds up.

The six tracks will be available on July 19. The included tracks are as follows:

"Blow Up the Outside World"

"Burden in My Hand" (Pro Guitar and Bass available)

"Fell on Black Days"

"Outshined" (Pro Guitar and Bass available)

"Rusty Cage" (Pro Guitar and Bass available)

"The Day I Tried to Live" (Pro Guitar and Bass available)

Also, the song "Pretty Noose," previously available on the Rock Band Store, will get a Pro Guitar expansion.

The complete "Celebrating Soundgarden on Tour 2011" six-song pack will cost $9.99 on PS3, 800 Microsoft Points, and 1000 Wii Points. Single songs can be purchased for $1.99, 160 Microsoft Points, and 200 Wii Points. Pro Bass and Guitar upgrades are $0.99, 80 Microsoft Points, and 100 Wii Points.
