Assassin's Creed Movie Coming To DVD

The recent live-action film further fleshes out the franchise's storyline, and you can watch the full tale on the upcoming home release.

If you're a big Assassin's Creed fan, you may have another product to look forward to this holiday season beyond Revelations. Assassin's Creed Lineage is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on November 15th. The collection of short live-action films follows the actions of Ezio's father, Giovanni, and helps to set up many of the events we see at the beginning of Assassin's Creed II.

The release will include a making of featurette, trailers for the movie, developer diaries, and the entire Assassin's Creed Ascendance animated short.

If you'd like a sneak peek, the full series of short films has already released online, and you can check the film out in the video below.

Video game films suck about 95% of the time, but the lineage videos from the AC2 game disc were very awesome! But if this is what is being released on DVD then what is the point? Unless of course it's longer than the 30min clip we got :/

What I saw on Assassin's Creed II was pretty good, so I think this would be a neat edition to my collection. We'll have to see when it comes out I guess.

The short films were very well done. I'm happy to see the ubisoft is doing more in the film business. They opened their own film studio a few months ago right? Although I see this being one of those dvds that go unsold and overstocked at Best Buy eventually ending up at the $5 bargain bin. It would be great if they made something new. Like whole film of Ezio's life. lol

Jesus, they recreated the environments of the game very well. There were times I thought I was watching a cut scene or something...Why can't people like this work on Hollywood video game movies!? And another thing, the assassin cloak, is in no way nonchalant lol; especially when you have all that gear hanging off it.

ubisoft needs to stop beating around the bush and make the real assassins creed movie, or sell the rights and supervise it
