Sony Extends Offer For Identity Theft Protection

After the PSN shutdown, Sony offered a free year of identity theft protection to all PSN users via AllClear ID Plus. While the rest of the Welcome Back package has expired, the company is extending the identity theft protection offer until July 31st.

Make sure to sign up here this month if you want to take them up on the offer.

Only problem.... the company they used sucks. I haven't recieved one email since I signed up, they don't give you monthly reports or any reassurance that your personal infromation is safe. For all I know they're doing nothing at all while Sony pays them whatever amount they asked for.

This is the most important part of Sony's Welcome BAck program. Sure, the free games were neat. But protecting our ID's are easily the most important thing. Thank you Sony for hooking us up with the offer, and making things right with your fans. I definitely took advantage of this AllClear deal, and definitely appreciate it Sony ;)
