New Game By Super Meat Boy Creator Coming
Edmund McMillen, one of the talented dudes behind the hard-as-nails platformer Super Meat Boy, is working on a side project. Don’t worry, McMillen is still collaborating with fellow SMB creator Tommy Refenes on another Team Meat game, but this is something entirely different. Entitled The Binding of Isaac, the game will be of a smaller scale than Super Meat Boy and doesn’t involve Team Meat.
In his personal blog, McMillen says he doesn’t want to reveal more about the game besides the above screenshot until it's release. Fortunately, we only have to wait about a month until The Binding of Isaac is done. McMillen teases that it’s inspired by one of his favorite games. He also reveals that the score will be composed by talented musician Danny Baranowsky.
A lot of the Game Informer crew loved Super Meat Boy, and we can’t wait to see what goofy game McMillen stirs up.
