Ms. Splosion Man Will Cost You $10
Despite being an amazing game, many downloadable fans recoiled when the critically acclaimed Braid hit XBLA for a whopping 1200 Microsoft points ($15). Jonathon Blow's puzzle game shattered the expectation for a $10 price tag. Three years later, $15 seems to be the accepted price for most major downloadable games. Twisted Pixel is giving us a thrifty blast from the past with Ms. Splosion Man.
To be fair, Twisted Pixel’s The Maw and the original Splosion Man all released at the $10 price tag. Even Comic Jumper, initially priced at $15, eventually had its price permanently dropped to $10.
So what does all this mean? It means you get to enjoy a fun game while paying $5 less than usual. We recommend putting aside the spare MS points in preparation for Xbox 360’s upcoming Summer of Arcade.
