The lights are on
That unending font of release leaks that we know and love as the ESRB has a listing up for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the original Crysis, which has never appeared on console. The first leak came out of South Korea's rating agency this time, though, so it's a little different.
Industrious fans at the MyCrysis community forums stumbled upon a listing at the website of the Korean GRB (Game Rating Board). Our own ESRB also lists 360 and PS3 as approved platforms for Crysis' M for Mature rating. Publisher Electronic Arts hasn't announced anything officially, but an ESRB listing like this almost always means that a game is coming.
While Crysis 2 is by all accounts a better game in most respects, fans should be glad at the chance to play the original. It's a solid game by any standard, with some standout moments that you won't forget.

Well that's a shocker.
I love my life.
VERY cool news. Congrats to everyone who has yet to play the original due to lack of gaming PC.
wasnt 2 on the systems?thats pretty backwards
I like this news quite a bit.
This would have been great news in 2007
I never played the first Crysis now I can.
it better be around the $40 price mark. this games pretty old but still stoked for it
That's cool, I actually quite enjoyed Crysis 2 but never played the first one.
Well they just removed half of the features that made it great. It's the first game any pc gamer would install, it's prestigious, even after 4 years. Also, Crysis 1 was a better game ;). Screw corridor shooting, I want my island!
That's good. I had it for PC but my machine couldn't run it. Maybe this will give me a chance to play it.
