PSA: Sony's "Welcome Back" Offer Expires Soon

by Jeff Marchiafava on Jun 30, 2011 at 11:23 AM

Remember that time Sony lost all of your personal information when hackers compromised PlayStation Network? Those were the good old days! But if you haven't taken advantage of Sony's "Welcome Back" deals, you're almost out of time.

Sony's offer of two free PS3 games and two free PSP games to all PSN users is set to expire on July 3, so if you haven't downloaded your free games yet, you'll want to do it soon. As a reminder, the PS3 games available are: Infamous, LittleBigPlanet, Super Stardust HD, Dead Nation, and the Wipeout HD + Fury expansion pack bundle. The free PSP titles are: LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers, Pursuit Force, and Killzone Liberation.

More importantly, you can can also activate a free month of PSN Plus, which has been offering all kinds of extra discounts and free downloadable games to users since the service came back online. It's also worth noting that if you sign up for the free month of PSN Plus, you will not be automatically enrolled into the service after 30 days, so you don't have to worry about any unexpected credit card charges or cancelling your subscription when the trial ends.

I've already downloaded Infamous, but can't decide between Dead Nation and Super Stardust HD for my second free PS3 game (I already own LBP). Does anyone who has played both of them care to offer their advice?
