The lights are on
The fact that every Shepard is unique to his or her creator gives a bit of flexibility when it comes to cosplay and special ownership over the final result. Check out cosplayer Zonbi’s vision of renegade Commander Shepard below. Who: The CharacterCommander Shepard from Mass Effect 2. I'm wearing one of the female casual outfits available in the game. Why: The DecisionI felt so involved playing Mass Effect 2. Commander Shepard is such a strong character that does whatever it takes to save humanity. I admire that! The more I played, the more I realized how fun it would be to wear a Shepard costume. What: The ProcessIt took about 2 weeks to make the entire costume. It only cost me about 50 dollars to complete it! I used fabric for the costume and EVA foam for the pistol, blue LEDs for the lights, and a little bit of latex for the renegade facial scars. The hardest part was making a pattern from scratchWhere and When: The DebutI first wore the costume at MidSouthCon2011 in Memphis, TN. The photoshoot was located at the Memphis Public library.Links: The CosplayerYou can find me on cosplay.com. The Gallery

Well, I think I know who wears the pants in the cosplaying.
Costume and pistol rocks but why did she try to be renegade Shepard, she doesn't have renegade look at all...
Good for her, a nice cosplay! It's always nice to see people being creative, I hope she keeps it up.
She's cute. The cosplay is nice too.
I like her hair
If only I could actually make fema-Shepard that beautiful, I would actually play as her.
Commander Shepard may or may not be evil, may be male or may be female, but Shepard ain't a tween. Other than that, pretty good.
The two silliest pics are actually taken from specific screens, so I can appreciate that.
She is cute. But I am sorry "Chick Shepard's" are just not as cool.Everybody knows Shepard is a dude! Ha Ha
Not good at all. I've seen MUCH better cosplayers do Shepard a lot better than this girl. As a die hard ME fan I'm actually sort of disappointed with this and it's not just because my Shepard is male and paragon. This just looks bad, she doesn't seem like she's really into it all that much like she's half assing it, and it just doesn't seem genuine or Mass Effect related. She could have worn red contacts too that could have helped.
not too bad but nothing compared to some we've seen on here i mean its not hard to do a face that changes depending on how you want it unless you play defualt but i guess the outfit is good considering but armor would have been better
The costume has my entire palette, but the Cosplayer doesn't suit my taste.
I like the fact that she took a character that is meant to be male or female, but almost exclusively shown as male, and give it a unique female angle. Nice work.
I give her props for the confidence to lend herself to the photoshoot and withstand the criticism on this forum. I also applaud her for the effort. I'm not into cosplay, but I can't help to sift through the Final Fantasy cosplay images - love the one-winged angel of death costumes, lol!
Cute pistol. =)
Awesome job, not as flashy or large as other costumes, but cool non-the-less.
To be honest its not the best comandeer shepard, and the poses could be alot better
