New Game From Deadly Premonition Team In The Works

by Joe Juba on Jun 27, 2011 at 11:10 AM

If you enjoyed Deadly Premonition, you aren't alone. Now, the mind behind the cult hit has announced that he and his team at Access Games have started on a new project.

Deadly Premonition's director, Swery, revealed on the site Cafe Swery65 (as translated by Destructoid): "It’s high time we started working on something new. However, since the company I work for, Access Games, is only a developer at this point, we focus on creating games ... we have to team up with a publisher and create a scheme for the entire process from production to release...In other words, the reality of the matter is that I can say 'I want to make a new game!' As much as I want, but that alone is not enough to start the process. Would anyone be ready to invest in us?"

The team has an idea and the will to work. It sounds like the final piece of the puzzle would be finding a publisher (it was Ignition for Deadly Premonition). Considering the dedicated following the team's last project earned, I don't think Access Games will have too much trouble generating interest.
