Ubisoft Follows Up Michael Jackson With The Black Eyed Peas

by Phil Kollar on Jun 26, 2011 at 10:30 AM

At E3, I heard rumors of a new Ubisoft "experience" game to follow up Michael Jackson: The Experience. What could it be, I wondered. Lady Gaga? Salt-N-Pepa? A whole game made up of nothing but that annoying "Barbara Streisand" song on loop? None of the above, it turns out!

Ubisoft has announced The Black Eyed Peas Experience for Kinect and Wii. You can check out the trailer below. It's worth remembering that the only Black Eyed Peas song you probably want to dance to -- "I Gotta Feeling" -- is already available on Dance Central.

Whatever your feelings on Michael Jackson, I think most of us can agree that he had enough dance-worthy music to deserve a game all to himself. But The Black Eyed Peas? I'll give Ubisoft this much: I'm not sure I've seen any other video game "franchise" jump the shark by its second entry.
