Shadow Of The Colossus Had An Unused Ending
While the HD remakes of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were at E3, something was missing: creator Fumito Ueda. Apparently he stayed home and went through some old files, uncovering this image of an unused ending to Shadow of the Colossus.
Don't worry: The ending that the game shipped with is the canonical one. However, this storyboard (revealed via Ueda's twitter) shows something different that was originally planned to happen. Unfortunately, it's difficult to decipher exactly what that "something different" was...but feel free to speculate in the comments below!
