Rage Delayed

id Software/Bethesda title moves from its original September 13 release date into October.

The game is being moved to October 4. No reason has been given for the move, but given id's historic reluctance to put out games before they are deemed ready, we're inclined to believe the reason is a good one.

  • boo!

  • BOOOOOO
  • As long as it plays well. Been waiting to get my hands on this one for a while now. What's a little while longer.
  • ***. That's pretty stupid to put it less than a month ahead. It better be a good reason.
  • Cmon!!! its already hard enough waiting for it....there better be a good reason...

  • I'm fine with them having more time. I was dissapointed with Brink (I know id didnt make it but it was still Bethesda) so heres hoping an extra month can make this game great.
  • are 4 years not enough?
  • eehhh one month or so, oh well I proboly couldn't get it till christmas anyways

  • I don't understand why people are bitching about a delay that will only make the game better in the long run.
  • So? It's delayed for barely a month. Could've been much worse.
  • Now I am enraged. Eh, what have I become.
  • You better make this game worth it, so sick and tired of delaying games and after all not much is changed
  • Every time I see Rage, I think of Blake Griffin. Maybe they moved it back so they could put him in!
  • Alright! more time to earn up some money to pre-order it!

  • Well WTF That Was Going To Be My Birthday Present To Myself Oh Well Win Some Loose Some Still Looks Like Its Gonna Be Awesome No Matter When It Releases.
  • October 4th? That's basically confirming that I'll not get the game at launch. Dark Souls FTW.

  • Not that long. get over it everybody

  • If it makes the game better...
  • I don't mind delays if it means I'll get a better game at the end of it. You have to wonder though if it's smart to put it right around the huge online war between BF3 and MW3.
  • This is actually good news in my opinion. Delaying means that they are fixing any problems or further improving upon the game. Plus, one month isn't that much longer.
