Oddworld Games Added To Vita

New Oddworld caretakers Just Add Water have announced that both Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath are coming to the Vita this holiday season.

The company announced the move over its Twitter feed, saying: "Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath coming to PS Vita this holiday season, with cross platform cloud saves."

Great news for both Oddworld fans and for the handheld, which seems to be getting strong support from the third-party community. Stranger's Wrath is also scheduled to be available via PSN this summer.

  • xbox live wants Stranger. stupid non-compatible disc.
  • Awesome, shows you Sony want people to Buy Vita, and from the looks of things, they are going to have GREAT 3rd party support!

  • Is Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee the first game in the series? I'd really like to get into this series, but I'm very picky about playing my games in order, lol.
  • Since I am not going to get an AT&T account the $250 Vita is sounding better and better. It may even be a day 1/preorder buy.

    EDIT
Did I miss the Vita release date? If this is coming this Holiday Season you should figure the system would be out same day ore before.
  • Great news. This'll be a perfect game for the PSVita. Hopefully you'll only have to buy one version of the game to have it for both the PSVita and PS3.

  • Cool beans.

  • Strangers Wrath is likely to stay in the fond memories category... don't see myself revisiting

  • Strangers Wrath would make an awesome portable game. I never finished the game on the Xbox but I always wanted to come back to it.

  • That means I can play oddworld stranger wrath everywhere YAY!!!!!!!!!

  • Stranger was freakin awesome, I didn't care for Munch's oddysee though

  • Cloud saves eh? So taking this game on the go with your home save file is a Playstation Plus only feature?

  • I love this *** game man.:)

  • This will be a must have when it releases.

  • Sweet, new info given everyday, can't wait to get my hands on the Vita and all it has to offer!

  • Cool... the vita looks like a revolutionary system, with all of it's features OddWorld will have little nits & twits about it (because of the hardware) that will make the game a tremendous feat for Sony.

  • Never tried the OddWorld series. May have to check it out this time around.

  • uhh wats oddworld is it an open world RPG style game?
