New Tomb Raider Figure Is As Expensive As She Looks

Sideshow Collectibles has opened preorders on the gorgeous new collectible, but you don't want to know how much it's going to cost you.

No one said beauty comes cheap. The new Lara Croft Premium Format figure is now open for preorders over at Sideshow Collectibles. The new figure is based on a design by celebrated artist Adam Hughes, and is based on Lara's appearance in the game Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. The figure is made from polystone and is dressed in a real fabric outfit.

So what's it going to run you? Any one of the limited edition of 750 figures costs $349.99, and comes packaged with an exclusive Adam Hughes art print.

That kind of money probably wouldn't be too much of a problem for the young British heiress, but where are you going to find the cash?

    I like the new Lara instead of this busty 90's style... even if Guardian of Light just came out; the reboot understands where to take Lara.

    This thing (don't get me wrong, I love Tomb Raider) cost more than a game console...and it does less. Meaning nothing.
