Uncharted 3 Collector's Edition & Pre-Order Bonuses Detailed

For super-fans of Nathan Drake's adventures, Sony and developer Naughty Dog are offering a $99.99 Collector's Edition of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception as well as some pre-order bonuses.

The Collector's Edition includes:

  • Sideshow Collectibles Nathan Drake statue
  • Replica of Drake's belt buckle
  • Replica of Drake's ring/necklace
  • Steelbook game case
  • Traveling Chest package that houses everything

Furthermore, the pre-order bonuses have also been detailed, and they sound to be multiplayer related.

  • GameStop: Creepy Crawler Kickback (a swarm of creatures attacks your enemies for a limited period)
  • BestBuy: Regeneration Booster (better healing power)
  • Amazon.com: Carpet Bomb Kickback (spits out three grenades at once) & Increased clip size for the Para 9 or G-MAL weapons
  • Wal-Mart: Callout Mod for AK-47 (gives your AK-47 a laser sight that allows your team to see the location of your target)
  • Other retailers: Uncharted 3 PSN Avatar & Uncharted 3 PS3 static theme

If this stuff gets you excited, stay tuned for the possible announcement of a Special Edition version of the game as well. The European PS3 blog has info about a European Special Edition (which is included in their Collector's Edition) that includes a PSN coupon for multiplayer goodies like an exclusive multiplayer skin, extra cash multiplier mod, and more. No details yet on a Special Edition for North America and what it may contain, but we'd be surprised if it didn't appear on these shores in some form.

    Necklaces in collectors editions FTL D; The Resistance 3 fang necklace, and I recall the Africa pendant from the Resident Evil 5 CE... do they honestly expect anyone to wear these, or even display them or what? I wish they would just give the option to purchase the standard game +steelbook case for an extra 5$ or something honestly

    I love the Uncharted series! They're probably my favorite games of all time. I'm really looking forward to the third installment of this series. I don't typically pre-order games but I'll be pre-ordering this one for sure. I don't know about the Collector's edition (it's just not really worth the extra 40 bucks if you ask me) but an Uncharted theme is satisfying.

    I've been waiting eagerly for them to announce the collector's edition of this game but now that they have, I don't know that I want it. Aside from the steel case that stuff is all very uninteresting. Maybe if I wore belt buckles.

    i dont see what the big deal is about this game.is it because its funny? i played 2 and i just dont understand the isnt all that deep either its just action and good dialogue.(i'm not trying to troll here)

    I'm totally switching my pre-order to the collectors, I'm so excited! :D Not really pumped about the belt buckle being a chick and all, but that necklace and statue are pretty sweet. I can't wait!

    with all these collectors sets. why dont these companies just begin to put these toys out in stores.. would they not make more money if they just made them available??

    the game looks great and im sure the sony collectors carrot has this rabbit baited. darn you sony. darn you!!

    Some of these multiplayer bonus' seem like they'd give a huge advantage to people who pre-order the game over people who don't.

    I'm not really to much of a fan of collectors editions they seem unnecessary to me but I definitely will be picking up the standard edition of this game as I'm stoked for this and can't wait to play.

    That's a great price for all the for a collectors edition. Sideshow collectibles makes some really nice statues I'm getting this hands down

    I'm not really liking this collector's edition. The statue is cool, but the belt buckle and ring necklace are pretty lackluster. I was also hoping for an artbook, even though it seems EVERY collector's edition has an artbook.
