Good Old Games Adds Classic EA PC Titles To Catalog

by Matt Helgeson on Jun 02, 2011 at 12:56 PM

For old-school PC fans, Good Old Games is a treasure trove, offering an impressive selection of classic PC games for very reasonable prices and without the hassles of DRM. Today, GOG announced that it's beefing up its lineup thanks to a new deal with Electronic Arts.

The deal will eventually bring over 25 classic EA computer games to the service, but they are starting today with three highly regarded games:

-- Ultima Underworld I+II (which includes The Stygian Abyss and Labyrinth of Worlds) ($5.99)

-- Wing Commander: Privateer ($5.99)

-- Dungeon Keeper ($5.99)

In addition, three other titles -- Crusader: No Remorse, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, and Magic Carpet -- will be released on GOG in the very near future.

While this is great news, the press release did dash the hopes of some gamers by revealing that the System Shock and Syndicate series are not a part of this deal.
