The lights are on
You've never heard of Valet Parking 1989? This title is easily the most exciting DSiWare release of the year. Time to learn yourself a lesson.
The amusing developer diary video below has two honors associated with it: It's the first time I've ever seen a game devoted to the seemingly mundane job of valet parking, and it's also one of the most awkward developer diaries I've ever watched.
To the credit of the guys who worked on this project, it seems like they have a genuine degree of love for the decade the game takes place in. They just, you know, chose to pour that love into a game about valet parking. So there you go. If you're interested in checking it out, Valet Parking 1989 is available on DSiWare now.

umm well i think it looks
i guess if u like parking cars all day
Just take my money. TAKE IT!
This might have been said already, but I've played flash games to this effect before. A full release as a downloadable game is another story. Throw this in the pile of shovelware that nintendo continues to allow to grace their hardware. I can only speak for the Wii, but there are only about a dozen (maybe less) great games out of however many hundreds have been released. Nintendo systems used to be the bomb. What a shame.
That was phenomenal. That artist was the coolest.
Has to be as strange a game subject as I've ever seen. But still, I dig it.
Quirky is always welcome, and you want to talk about cornering the market on parking games, here we have it.
May seem weird. But it's more origonal than Call of Duty.
I can't wait till the sequel comes out: Shoeshining 2011: New York City Grand Central!
You're right: That Developer Diary was completely painful and awkward.
80s were the best; as were the 70s, 60s and 50s!
hi and how are you and what are you doing now and
I couldn't understand anything that was being said in that video. But I guess this looks...interesting.
I couldn't watch that the entire way through...it was simply too painful to watch.
LMAO!
