Fanmade GTA IV Mod Brings Niko To San Andreas

While Grand Theft Auto IV greatly upped the series' graphics and physics, it took a step down in terms of map size (not necessarily a bad thing). For those that preferred the feel of GTA IV and the vastness of San Andreas, you'll be able to combine the two thanks to an upcoming PC mod.

No word on when this will be completed, but you can catch a sneak peek below.

    I've always wanted to play in San Andreas using GTA IV gameplay mechanics, so I guess its time for me to pick up the PC version.

    I hated San Andreas. Why should I care about a bunch of n-word using gang bangers. Love the gameplay hate all the characters.

    Wow. I want this so badly. I would pay $20 for this as an official DLC for the Xbox.

    This is awesome, San Andreas was arguably the best map in the series, this is gonna be sweet. A non essential addition but still a cool one

    San Andreas = My favorite game of all time.  This = Absolutely amazing.  Too bad I don't have a PC and will probably never be able to experience this.

    See modders? Look at the amazing stuff you can do on the PC. So tell me, why do you feel the need to crack a ps3 or 360 to do this kind of stuff? They are obviously inferior to a state of the art PC, and no bad things happen to modders in the PC market. Basically, I'm asking you to just leave the consoles alone and stick to the PC. They welcome you there, so please... stop making the console market worse.

    The thing I liked most about San Andreas was being able to customize your character and vehicles, I was disappointed that they took that out of GTA 5, aside from changing you clothes that is.

    San Andreas is still the best GTA game. I love all the haters too. It is such transparent racism it makes me laugh.

    But yet some equally thuggish mongrel from Eastern europe is perfectly likable. Let me put it this way, if you have sympathy for any of the characters in GTA games you should have your heads examined. They are all criminal trash and that is the fun of it. To single out San Andreas for criticism of all the games in series based on the "characters" is laughably racist because No GTA before or since had the depth and pure fun that GTA San Andreas had and the map size was gargantuan.
