Ghost Recon Box Art Suggests Kinect Support

by Jeff Marchiafava on May 26, 2011 at 06:50 AM

Will Ghost Recon Future Soldier utilize Microsoft's new motion sensor? The SKU listing for the game on the official Xbox website suggests it will, promising that the game is "Better with Kinect."

Joystiq is reporting that for a short time the Ghost Recon Future Soldier page on Xbox.com featured box art adorned with Kinect's telltale purple header. The feature list didn't give any details as to how Kinect will be incorporated, whether it will use the peripheral's built-in microphone for simple voice commands, or if the game will feature some kind of gesture-based gameplay.

The box art has since been switched to an image that doesn't feature the Kinect branding, so it could have been a simple mistake, but considering Microsoft's recent hints that many more Kinect titles are on the way, we're guessing the only mistake was publishing the art before an E3 reveal.
