Outbreak DLC Coming To Dead Space 2

Dead Space 2 fans can look forward to two free maps courtesy of the Outbreak Map Pack from Electronic Arts and developer Visceral Games.

The pack introduces The Academy and The Concourse. The Academy takes place in a elementary school on The Sprawl, and tasks the human team with activating the decontamination system before the Necromorphs make a meal out of them. The Concourse is set in the mall, and is a race against time as the humans try and send a distress signal to a rescue ship.

The Outbreak Map Pack should come out on May 31st for Xbox Live and June 3rd for PSN.

    aww man, i was hoping for some more story stuff, the multi- is still fun though when im drinking with friends

    I am in love with Dead Space and have beaten the campaign a dozen times at least, but I've never tried the multiplayer. Maybe this can be some incentive...

    Finally went Platinum with this game, but with the DLC Severed, I'm not not 100% yet, will take care of that very soon :-D

    Multiplayer was average. Got really boring real fast though.

    Awesome! I love Dead Space 2! Im only level 16 on multiplayer but great God, I have every acheivement for that game except for "Hard to the Core." On chapter 10 right now. Used my last save :(

    Now that I'm home from school I can actually sit down play through the game like a million more times.  Easily one of my favorite games ever

    Well at least we know the PSN store will be up by June 3rd :)

    I still need the Zealot difficulty trophy for DS2 (not because it's hard). I just kinda stopped playing this game when I got my hands on Borderlands GOTY, I guess I'll be going back to it when I'm done with Borderlands.
