The lights are on
Surprise! The company that brought you the critically adored Portal 2 will not be attending E3 this year.
Here is the entirety of Valve's press release:
"Hi, Lots of folks have mailed asking about appointment times, etc., with Valve. Well, we are not showing any titles at this year's show. So no appointment is needed.
Thanks"
Valve always gets straight to the point. You've got to appreciate that. Let's hope they're hard at work on a new Half-Life game.
Email the author Tim Turi, or follow on Twitter, and Game Informer.
Bummer indeed.
Not too surprised. Portal 2 just shipped. I'd have been surprised if they WERE showing something. Valve releases are usually infrequent. At best. Some games just never get released...
Its understandable. With Portal 2's launch being roughly a month old and the only new game they have, to my understanding, is DOA2. They probably have nothing to show. Yet, if they wanna be sneaky they can, but it only makes me suspicious........WHATYA DOIN' VALVE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
:(
hopfully this means they are working hard on half life 3 for nexts years show.
No freaking way Valve, come on.... anyway hope they really doing Half Life .
Hopefully this is because they are too busy working on Half-Life 3!
