New Rune Factory Coming To North America
Rune Factory: Oceans was a significant installment in the Rune Factory series for a couple of reasons. First, it introduced giants that you could ride and use to pull sunken ships and islands out of the sea. Second, it was the first game in the series to be released on the PlayStation 3. Today Natsume announced that it will be bringing the title to the U.S., under the name Rune Factory: Tides Of Destiny.
“We know our loyal fans have been patiently awaiting news of a North American release for Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny, so we are thrilled to announce that the latest entry in the fan-favorite series is on its way," Natsume's president and CEO Hiro Maekawa told Siliconera. “Featuring a vast region to explore, a wonderful cast of characters, and a huge variety of activities to enjoy, Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny is sure to make waves!”
We see what you did there, Maekawa. Tides Of Destiny will be released on the Wii and PlayStation 3 sometime this year -- expect to hear more about the game during this year's E3.
