This Lady Loves To Farm

by Matt Bertz on May 11, 2011 at 07:15 AM

Pop diva Lady GaGa and Zynga are teaming up again, this time to promote her new album Born This Way on Farmville.

The unlikely duo previously worked together to raise nearly $3 million for Japan following the devastating earthquake and tsunami. This time, it's all about shameless self promotion!

“I want to celebrate and share Born This Way with my little monsters in a special way that’s never been done before,”  Lady Gaga said in a press statement . “Zynga has created a magical place in FarmVille where my fans can come play and be the first to listen to the album.”

The centerpiece of this collaboration is a Lady Gaga-inspired farm that features pop star riders like unicorns, sheep on motorcycles, and crystals. Tend to this needy plot of land properly, and you can hear some select cuts from the new album. Zynga is also offering GaGa goodies in RewardVille, Words With Friends, and for purchasing its $25 dollar game cards at Best Buy.

"GagaVille" launches May 17. Get your pitchforks ready. You know, for farming.
