The lights are on
Given their blank, Halloween-ish masks, and red wizard robes, Shy Guys always seemed like one of the creepier Super Mario Bros. enemies. You ain’t seen nothing yet.
Custom action figure artist Jin Saotome put together this fine piece. He explains how he built the figure on his blog if you want to try to build one yourself. Or you could bid on the figure's eBay auction. Warning, custom figures like this can get a little pricey. How much do you love obscure Mario enemies?

I will most definitely be having nightmares. Why don't I remember these guys/things from Mario?
RAINCOAT KILLER! Out of context, this definitely feels Silent Hill-sy. But given the cute nature of shy-guys, it seems more likely he would be an antagonist in Shadow the Hedgehog. Blech.
Still an awesome figure though!
This is awesome i think i may put a bid on this for sure this thing is awesome i would be terrified if this thing was chasing me down
He's not that creepy. Kinda reminds of Vivi from FFIX for some reason. He definitely seems like a Final Fantasy character...albeit, a Tetsuya Nomura one (who, thankfully, stayed far far away from FF9). The big floppy shoes, the bright colors, the trench coat - is this a Shy Guy soldier or Sora in a Mario-themed Halloween costume? Very Nomura-esque...
There isn't anything about these I don't like. Very creative. I'd totally be this guy if they put the skin in Brink.
it looks like a kingdom hearts enemy
They aren't supposed to be that bad!
They should start selling these in the halloween stores this year.
Evil looking. \ /
if nintendo doesn't have many hardcore games, people will do this
he is scary in a not scary way. i wouldn't want him coming alive on my nightstand
the new nintendo console should have a game featuring this character like, GTA shy guy edition
Ive seen more scary things then that.
