Rex is your average teenager who can turn his body into "all kinds of awesome machines." These ridiculous skills will come in handy when he stars in his own game, Generator Rex: Agent of Providence, which will have a multiplatform release in October.

Brought to you by Activision and Cartoon Network, Agent of Providence is based off the Generator Rex animated series and "embodies the best of boys' action: a conflict-driven storyline, aspirational characters and an arsenal of cool weapons and vehicles," says Pete Yoder, VP of U.S. Consumer Products at Cartoon Network Enterprises. What does "boys' action" even mean, Pete Yoder?!?! Find out when the game releases on Nintendo DS, 3DS, Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 later this year.

While I'm not a fan of the recent stuff Cartoon Network has been putting out, I found Generator Rex to actually be entertaining and have a good story. That said, the game will (like most other CN games) suck.

The game will probably be horrible. The show itself is very good, great story and characters, but..CN is never great with their games. The DS version will probably be the best.

Bleargh. Anything from Cartoon Network's Ben 10 team is garbage. Also, anything from Activision:) C'mon CN. Make an Adventure Time game instead:)

Okay Game Informer, I have read your magazine since the nineties, but lately the quality of stories you post online would only be interesting to a 14 year old or are totally trite and stupid. A Generator Rex game! Who gives a sh*t! I want the journalistic integrity of your magazine online! Interesting stories please! Or do you guys just get stoned and look up stupid sh*t on google to write about in-between magazine articles?

The concept could be absolutely amazing for a video game, but seeing as CN hasn't pulled off an excellent game yet, I doubt they'll score on this one.
