Could Hitman 5 Be Called Hitman: Absolution?

Square Enix has already started dropping hints about the next game in the Hitman series, but thanks to a recent trademark we might now know the name of the game.

As Siliconera has recently reported, Square Enix Europe has filed a trademark for Hitman: Absolution in the UK region. Could that be the name of the game for all territories? We expect to hear more about this series at this year’s E3.

The only game in the series I played was Hitman 2, but I absolutely loved that game. It'd be great to get to play another.

I like the name quite a bit. Absolutely loved Blood Money, so I hope it stays in that direction. Can't wait to see more!!

PATTY CAKE will promise. then they will give us a date. after that we will be informed of a delay. and another delay. annnnnd another. we all will then pray to god and cross our fingers so that we will not be informed of another delay. a question to Square Enix: why make a game if you are going to constantly delay it??? i won't be surprised if Deus Ex gets delayed again.

I'm still to this day trying to get used to Square Enix being on the label of this game. This and Tomb Raider. I know its Square Enix Europe, but still, saying Square Enix for these kinds of games is still a bit awkward, in a comical sort of way.

As long as it's a Hitman game, I don't care. Those games were a little slow-paced for my taste (unless you took the guns blazing route, which I never really did), but the feeling you got when you pulled off the perfect assassination was soooo nice!

I don't care what it's called. The only thing I do care about are the game mechanics... they seriously need to get a handle on that. I always loved Hitman, but the gameplay always felt off and hard to grasp.
