PSN Down Possibly For "Full Day Or Two"
The recent releases of Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat have plenty of gamers eager to hop online for some multiplayer gaming, but PS3 owners are currently out of luck. Sony has announced that the PlayStation Network is currently down, and may stay down for an extended period of time.
Sony has been updating PlayStation.Blog regularly with news about the outage, but the most recent post doesn't sound good. Senior director Patrick Seybold just posted that it "...may be a full day or two before we’re able to get the service completely back up and running." Sony isn't revealing the cause of the problem at this time. We'll keep you updated on the status of PSN in the coming days.
