The lights are on
Will a certain "trusted source" close to Nintendo be proved correct next month? If so, we may see a $150 Wii on store shelves come May 15.Tech site Engadget reports that it's received this enticing tip. But why would Nintendo drop the price weeks before E3? Surely Mario's master would save this huge news for a bigtime press conference bomb drop.If this turns out to be true, however, what would a pre-E3 price drop signal? Perhaps Nintendo wants any final holdouts to buy up a big stock of cheap Wiis mere weeks before a brand new home console is announced, as analysts have speculated. After all, take a look at this pathetic release lineup for Wii. Sure, there are a couple third-party titles with potential, but the rest just screams end-of-lifecycle.E3's less than two months away and things are already getting exciting!

I thought they were already 150? Where the **** have I been? Oh...on my 360 and PS3. RELEASE SKYWARD SWORD!!!!!!!!
so you want to make a new console now do you
so you drop the price of the wii
i guess ill finally break down and buy a wii
Ahhhhhh.... nothing like a good old fashioned price drop to get the gears churning again so that others may follow suit.
It sure does sound like Nintendo is preparing for a new console!
well they want to sell more systems because ps3 and 360 are expected to sell more than them
Interesting..
If a Wii Too gets announced I hope Skyward Sword doesn't end up like Twilight Princess.
So it's still a Wii right? ... In that case I'll pass.
Prestige 14 Black Ops on Wii here I come!
jk. that's heck of embarrassing
Maybe I'll finally be able to buy one.
That definitely sounds like something is going on.
Thats pretty desprate sounding, Nintendo.
already got one...spent more time on my PS3 in one month than I did on my Wii in 9 months.
