The lights are on
It really never surprises me what creative and inspired things the LittleBigPlanet community comes up with using the game's groundbreaking creation tools. But this one is especially clever, and worth sharing.
A user named "junkvXXL" made the game below using only the tools included by Media Molecule in LittleBigPlanet 2. It's a remake of Super Mario Land, a 1989 sidescroller for the original, monochrome Game Boy. He also promises that he's working on more levels, so stay tuned.

thats pretty sick
Are you freakin kidding me? thats amazing!
It's amazing how Little Big Planet has apparently nothing to do with sackboys and such anymore.
OH MAN. I remember and love the hell out of that game! This is absolutely amazing!
It never ceases to amaze me what people can create using Little Big Planet 2.
I'm not familiar with LBP technically, so did this just tax the resources?
It seems a lot jankier than I recall it being, so I don't think it's an intentional emulation.
Haha, that's pretty neat. I think I'll play LBP2 later just to play this.
I wish I had that kind of creative talent.
