The lights are on
Instructables is a cool website that offers step-by-step instructions on everything from making quilts to "probiotic ginger beer." Just just came across one cool craft project that will be of interest to gamers: a detailed plan on how to make your own replica Zelda treasure chest -- one that even plays the iconic "opening" sound from the game.
While you'll have to go to the page on Instructables to get the full plan (done by user "pkmnjunky7"), the audio portion of the magic is done through the use of a "cheap mp3 player" and a "SPDT level switch from Radio Shack." This is pretty creative, and it works, too. We've got the YouTube video to prove it.
(good lookin' out to the big homie Percy M. for the tip)

That's awesome
That's pretty cool.
This would be the perfect to place skyward sword in as a gift
Ha, that's awesome!
Of course! That's where I left the remote!
A friend of mine showed me this. We are planning on making one.
I'd use that to give people presents.
I'd use this to put my Christmas gifts in to a friend. Pretty cool doing that than just wrapping it.
Lol
thats ****ing awesome
Neat! I would love to do this before I die; load it up with money, hide it somewhere. I mean, it sucks that there aren't any treasure chests anywhere in the "real world". If someone were to find one filled with money, that would make their day I'm sure:)
i want... i really want it...
Haha! Nice!!
Where's my heart piece?
