Atari's Greatest Hits Is #1 Free App
According to Apple's charts, Atari's Greatest Hits is currently the top free app on iTunes. The term "free" needs some qualification here, though: While the app itself doesn't cost anything, it only comes with Pong.
If you're interested in other titles, like Asteroids or Battlezone, you'll have to download them in packs of four for 99 cents. You can get all the details on the app's official page. Because if there's one thing the world needs, it's another way to play ancient Atari games. Er, I mean "classics."
Anyway, this is good news for Atari, considering that the app beat out the free version of Angry Birds Rio and Facebook.
