Mortal Kombat Xbox 360-Exclusives Revealed?

Xbox 360 Mortal Kombat fans were disappointed when it was announced that PS3 owners would get Kratos as an exclusive character while they got nothing. Rumors have now surfaced that Xbox 360 fans won't be left out in the cold when it comes to exclusives.

None of this has been confirmed yet by developer NetherRealms Studios, but it would be surprising if the PS3 got something and the Xbox 360 didn't.

  • Exclusive Mode: Puzzle Kombat – Features online play, leaderboards, and avatar support
  • Exclusive Arena: The Pit 360 – A remake of The Pit III from MK 3
  • King of the Hill mode will include avatar support
  • DLC Character "Lady in Red" will be available to Xbox Live users as a free download for a limited time after her release
  • Exclusive avatar gear will be available for purchase

    I'd rather have an exclusive character. Like chief. Or Ryu.

    It would be awesome if it was but owning both consoles is always a plus to pick and choose between the two and get the better exclusive.

    Ooh,Puzzle Kombat!I loved that,and would love to see it make a comeback.Granted,as I prefer games on PS3 when I can egt them,I'd want it to be crossplatform*cough* But if 360 can get something as well,that could be cool I suppose.Granted,with so little time to launch(2 weeks now?)I'll be suprised if they announce preorder bonuses so late...usually the preorder bonus' will be announced beforehand,and the PS3 preorder bonus has been announced so long,its sure to have swayed some people that way.*Shrugs*

    Doesn't really matter to me, getting this for both systems. Still, an exclusive character for everyone is nice.

    I cant say I agree with this stuff, they should really just include all the stuff with either copy, its obvious is was ready at retail printing and they cost the same to buy so why should I get ripped off if I only have 1 system or prefer to play on one system or the other?

    Offer Master Chief and were all good, but everything else seems decent enough.

    The last thing I want to see is Master Chief in MK, I'd much rather have the items listed above.

    Since there aren't any characters that could really fit into the mortal kombat universe that are exclusive to the 360, these things sound pretty cool.

    Much prefer Gears characters. Or possibly Master Chief, either one.

    All of that is fraking weak sauce compared to the addition of Kratos for the PS3 version.

    Compared to Sony's fully fleshed out exclusive character - this stuff is garbage :/ I mean I liked Chess Kombat and the like but you have to figure the devs wouldn't put a whole lot of time into something only 1 version is going to get. So I'm guessing it won't be very entertaining. Anything with avatars - who cares? The free DLC char is nice though. Wish it was Kenshi instead of that chick in Red. But I got it for 360 anyway due to friends being on the 360 so I'll wait and see, maybe I will be surprised.

    Even though I'm getting this for PS3, I would like to see 360 users get an exclusive character.

    Chief shouldn't be the 360 eclusive. He's a suit of Armor with guns, not a fighter. I think, If there was an Xbox exclusive, it should be the L4D tank. Sure, it's also on PC, but it's not on PS3, so I think it's a good substitute for Kratos. The Tank also seems natural for an over the top fighting game.

    Most of this things are download only so I wont be downloading any of it and I am not buying this game.

    Marcus from Gears would have been better. Although that still wouldn't be as good as Kratos. He just fits so well into the MK universe.
