Microsoft Silverlight Headed To Xbox 360?

Right now it's just a rumor that Microsoft's answer to Adobe Flash is being ported to work on 360. If it proves to be true, why would that be a big deal? It would mean that Windows Phone 7 games could be brought over to the home console.

Website WinRumors claims that port has been in the works for months and that the Silverlight announcement will debut at next week's MX11 conference in Las Vegas.

If this does happen, it could open the connection between Microsoft's phones and consoles, granting more legitimacy to the former and providing more content for the latter.

It'll be very interesting to see what comes of this next week.
