The lights are on
The Tempest Freerunning Academy – which opened its doors just this past weekend – boasts that it’s California’s only training facility solely dedicated to furthering the growth of freerunning and parkour.
An indoor city comprised of over 7,000 square feet of equipment is impressive enough, but we were equally entertained by some 8-bit love featured in the urban obstacle course.
A promotional video for the facility opens by showcasing a Mario-inspired motif. Check out the first bit of footage to see the NES tribute, and stick around for the fascinating displays of athleticism.
[Thanks to Rob Lawson for the tip!]

See, Mario was doing it back when Levi Meeuwenburg was still in diapers, lol. This is cool, a creative way to show their love for old video games. Maybe they'll showcase this on Jump City Seattle.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would have killed for something like this a little over 10 years ago when I had my health :)

It's like watching real people climb buildings the way they do in AC! Haha! Makes me wanna do it >.> Free running is amazing...and I wanna learn. Hats off to them and their course though!
I clicked on the video expecting it to be kind of dumb but that was pretty awesome. I like the transitions they did in there.
