Jonathan Blow Goes In-Depth On The Creation Of Braid

by Phil Kollar on Apr 04, 2011 at 08:29 AM

A lot of us loved Jonathan Blow's clever downloadable platformer/puzzler Braid, but how much did you really love it? Enough to watch an hour-and-a-half long presentation all about the game's creation? Prove it.

This YouTube video from last month features the whole of Blow's presentation from GameCity, an indie game festival hosted yearly in the U.K. It includes a look at some early prototypes of Braid that looked a lot more like Super Mario Bros. but had much less tight platforming. If you're a true super-fan, be sure to check it out for Blow's fascinating insight into the game's lengthy and troublesome design process.
