Twisted Pixel Partners With Home Depot To Promote Gunstringer

by Tim Turi on Apr 01, 2011 at 09:56 AM

This may come as a surprise to you, but Twisted Pixel has officially partnered with Home Depot to bring a unique marionette simulation to your very own living room.

The puppeteer controller, originally codenamed “Project 144in. x 1-1/4in. Pine Round Dowel,” is made of "professional grade pine... built to withstand the hardest stresses that virtual marionetting can provide."

From Twisted Pixel's press release:

“This groundbreaking partnership with Home Depot truly ushers in a new era of controller-free controller gaming” said Mike Wilford, CEO of Twisted Pixel Games and member of Home Depot’s Home Improver Club. “When Barry from Home Depot’s lumber section told me about the ‘rustic flair’ and ‘attractive wood grain’, I knew instantly that we had to get these rods into the hands of marionette aficionados everywhere”.

You can snag the dashing dowel at a Home Depot near you for a mere $2.17.

Not really.
