Inafune Starts New Companies

by Matthew Kato on Apr 01, 2011 at 03:38 AM

Former Capcom head Keiji Inafune has announced two new companies that will express his gaming ideas and much more.

Intercept is the more games-focused of the two ventures (and what Inafune says is his "challenge to consumer game development," and Andriasang has a translation of the Intercept website which outlines three core tenets:

  • Originality
  • Gravity (the power to pull people in)
  • Beyond the Ages (timelessness)

Comcept [sic] will work on game ideas (including online and mobile), but also books, characters, videos, "other entertainment," and even events.

Inafune has yet to announce any specific projects for these two companies.
