Castlevania Reverie DLC Available Now On PS3

Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow's Reverie DLC wasn't supposed to come out until March 30, but just like the vampires it contains, the new content struck without warning in the dead of the night. What's that? It actually came out this morning? Well, thanks for ruining my metaphor, Konami.

Reverie is currently only available on the PS3, and our associate editor Tim Turi is downloading it now and will post his impressions as soon as he finishes. Konami says that the Xbox 360 version will be available "soon." Fans of Lords Of Shadow are eager to get their hands on the new DLC, as it follows up on the game's surprise ending.

    Can this happen for ME2's arrival DLC, like tomorrow? Can someone please just start a trend in the industry of releasing their DLC a week ahead of time? That would be wonderful.

    But I really do hate it when a system gets something first. Waiting while the other side of the table eats their food sucks.

    I think it's cool it was released early--they probably just finished it up for PS3 and decided, "heck let's just release it now."

    Stop complaining about it not being out for the 360 yet--it's not like one of those timed exclusives where they coyly won't confirm if it's even coming to the other platforms. Besides, it'll probably be released as soon as Microsoft is done authorizing it or whatever.

    Konami has gained respect by releasing early.  I thought this is when it was going to release anyway.  I've been eagerly awaiting the DLC since hearing about it not long ago.  I've only played the first level(Crysis 2 becons), which hasn't added anything new yet, just a retreading of an older level but more Castlevania is not a bad thing. This time, however, you have Laura added as an AI partner, which is cool, I liked her character in the game.  I also like the new collectible.  Frankenfingers.
