Super Dodge Ball Successor Coming To WiiWare
Remember Super Dodge Ball for NES? Quite possibly the only truly awesome dodge ball game ever made? Well, it's all set for a revival on WiiWare.
Andriasang reports that Miracle Kidz -- the same team creating River City Ransom 2 -- will release Downtown Nekketsu Dodgeball on WiiWare in May. This is an update of Nekketsu Koko Dogeball Bu, the Japanese title for what NES kids knew as Super Dodge Ball.
In addition to classic play with updated control and AI, the new version of Super Dodge Ball will contain a simulation mode where you set AI patterns for your team and let them play without controlling anyone directly.
All of the screenshots and info released so far seem to be in Japanese only, so it's unclear if this will make it out in North America. Fingers crossed.
