Get Ready To Punch Through The Summer With River City Ransom 2
Developer Miracle Kidz is working on a PC and console sequel to the late ‘80s early ‘90s classic.
The original River City Ransom release on NES in 1989 in Japan, and in the U.S. the following year. The title ended up being the template for many successive side scrolling beat ‘em ups. River City Ransom was even a heavy inspiration for last year’s Scott Pilgrim DLG.
After over 20 year it looks like we’ll be getting a sequel. Japanese developer Miracle Kidz is working on the title, which should hit consoles later this summer. If you’re not excited for this, you’re doing it wrong.
