Dead Or Alive Dimensions Receiving Predictably Creepy Costume DLC

Dead Or Alive is a series that knows its creepy fans. Hell, DOA Paradise has virtually no gameplay but plenty of footage of balloon-breasted young girls lathering themselves up and taking turns licking the same ice cream cone. While the DOA fighting games dial down the perv factor somewhat, there's still plenty to appeal to the pockmarked, socially awkward, sweaty, desperate, basement-dwelling creepers who get their kicks watching virtual ladies fondle each other.

In an effort to reach out to these fans, Dead Or Alive Dimensions will feature downloadable costumes via the 3DS' StreetPass functionality. You can see a few examples below, including creepy-guy favorites like the schoolgirl outfit and one with weird cat ear crap.

    Looking at this just makes me want to wash my eyes out. Do people (pockmarked, socially awkward, sweaty, desperate, basement-dwelling creepers who get their kicks watching virtual ladies fondle each other) really get turned on by animated pixels? Really? The real thing is a lot more fun fellas...and won't cost you any Microsoft either!

    This is one of the most bitter news posts I've ever seen about something fairly harmless that doesn't really affect anybody. The schoolgirl thing isn't just limited to your stupid video game stereotype. Its part of the pop music, porn, television, and film industry so its certainly not anything new. Also the 'stupid cat-ear thing' fits since the game is Japanese-developed and the neku subculture is fairly popular over there is several mangas. Plus, one of the biggest sellers at most anime conventions is cat ears and tails and its not sweaty weird people buying them.

    Yeah so none of these are new costumes to the DOA series. Although I think it's a bit harsh to call people who play the DOA fighting games "pockmarked, socially awkward, sweaty, desperate, basement-dwelling creepers who get their kicks watching virtual ladies fondle each other." I personally enjoy the DOA fighting games and I am none of those things. *Note I said DOA fighting games. This means I do not play or enjoy those creepy, perverted spinoffs."

    I think Dan is just suffering from sexual repression. How is any of this creepy? I think every video game character should dress this way. Enough with the functional body armor and realistic ninja suits. Become a free spirit DJ.
