Croteam And Devolver Digital Announce Serious Sam Indie Series
The upcoming Serious Sam 3 is being handled by Devolver Digital, the developer that put together the HD remakes of Croteam's first two franchise entries. Sam's return will be further extended across the Serious Sam Indie Series, three stand-alone games announced by Croteam and Devolver that will allow indie developers take the reigns. The teams taking on the indie series include Mommy's Best Games (Serious Sam: Double D, side-scrolling 2D shooter for PC and console), Be-Rad Entertainment (Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack! mobile game), and Vlambeer (Serious Sam: The Random Encounter, turn-based RPG).
The Serious Sam Indie Series are slated to launch prior to the summer launch of Serious Sam 3.
