The Terrifying Sharks Vs. Divers Multiplayer Game You Didn't Know You Wanted

by Phil Kollar on Mar 05, 2011 at 12:40 PM

Let me get this out of the way first: If you're reading this, and you have a serious shark phobia -- I'm looking at you, Andrew Reiner -- then do yourself a favor and quit reading now. For everyone else, meet Depth.

Depth is an insane-looking indie game being created with the Unreal development kit. It's being described as an "aquatic stealth game." You choose to play as either a diver, searching the depths of the ocean for treasure, or a TERRIFYING DAMNED SHARK looking to rip limbs off of anything that moves.

Aquatic and stealth makes Depth sound like it's mixing together two things I generally hate in video games, but check out the video below -- it actually looks fun, scary, and full of tension in a way that is hard to pull off in a multiplayer game. If you want more info after watching the video, you can check out the official Depth website.
